West Perry High School Quilt:
3955 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville

(Belle Haven Farm)

Starting in the upper left corner, the wogan wheel and four horses represent settlers
entering Sheoffers Valley near the former village of Pandemonium. The patchwork tree
signifies the heavily forested and wooded areas that cover much of the West Perry School
District. The red born suggests heavy agricultural influence, as well as the rural farming
community. lastly, the water quilt block represents Shermans Creek. Each block is painted
in detail to create the appearance of fabric pieces.
