Big Spring and Picnic Area

This spring is one of the largest springs in Perry County. Water from the spring flows into Sherman’s Creek. The spring was used as a resting area years ago.
Big Spring Park became Big Spring Picnic area in 2005. There are five pavilions with the largest one able to hold up to 100 people. There are several trails that are accessible from the picnic area.
