The first “Trail Rug” of the PA Quilt Trails andNational Quilt Trail was unveiled
in July of 2011. The mural can be found at the TuscaroraState Forest office.
The “Trail Rug” design was selected from one of Magdalena (Briner) Eby’s
hook rugs from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s.  Magdalena (Briner) Eby was from
this area and lived for a time on property that is now part of the Tuscarora State Forest.
